Need UV-curing? Then I’m your machine. After you have cleaned your sample you can speed up curing time by putting your sample in the bottom, close lid and let the LED UV-light do their magic. By exposing the material to a contrated light at a specific wave lenght the sample will cure faster. Simply press and hold to adjust exposure time and then START. I serve as basic installment and as an alternative to putting your sample in a windowsill. Curing samples is essential towards the mechanical properties of the material so do not hesitate to utilize me in your post-curing process. The cleaning process is key for a succesful post-cure, so clean your sample thoroughly.
Hints:
- Cure your sample overnight so the cycle can be repeated the next morning
- Flip the sample after a cycle to diversify the light exposure
- Over-curing is better than under-curing
- Curing time depends on resin and geometry
